Agility Training

An Introduction To Agility

Agility dog training can be both fun and stimulating for both the dog and handler.  Agility is a dog sport that tests the skill, speed and abilities of both the dog and handler and creates a situation where the dog and handler learn to trust each other more with every session. It is an obstacle course made up of jumps, tunnels, and walkways. Dogs and handlers work as teams, with the handler helping the dog navigate the obstacles in the correct order.

At each trial you & your dog will run around the unique courses designed for that day.  All of this is done with your dog relying solely on body language & the cues you use to direct them on course.

Consider Competing

Agility can be so thrilling that you might find yourself wanting to go to the next level and actually competing.
